OUR MISSION
We are a networked community for womxn's leadership in education technology. We are business experts, technologists, designers, and educators working to support the development of womxn's leadership capacity and opportunity in education technology.
We build connections and skills that lead to stronger businesses, better products, and different schools. We create a community, united on the local, national, international, and digital levels, committed to support and innovation, driven to make change.
Our mission is to increase the leadership capacity of womxn in education technology through inclusivity, visibility, and impact.
OUR VALUES
We are a community of womxn and supporters linked through authentic connections, working to build relationships, develop careers, and change standards, in ways that increase and improve leadership opportunities for womxn in education technology. We do this through the values of inclusivity, visibility, and impact.
Inclusivity: EdTechWomxn is an open platform where members from across the edtech ecosystem, including educators, business leaders, technologists, students, consumers, and developers, can come together. It is an inclusive community, sharing experiences from all ages, all identities, all genders, and all backgrounds.
Visibility: EdTechWomxn wants the world to see the impact womxn have as leaders, decision-makers, and experts, and the power they have as a network. By providing opportunities and events where the accomplishments of womxn can be seen and shared, EdTechWomxn accelerates the development of individuals, companies, and the community as a whole.
Impact: EdTechWomxn exists because a group of womxn came together with a shared vision for creating a more connected, more collaborative, and more welcoming community within education technology. EdTechWomxn offers a network and platform to provide members with skill development, mentorship, and other opportunities to accelerate their careers and positive impact.
